Destinations Fernando de Noronha

The Fernando de Noronha Archipelago is a Marine National Park located 200 miles off the northeastern coast of Brazil. Noronha is a mountainous archipelago of volcanic origin that was wonderfully shaped into one large island and 20 smaller ones. Their beautiful sandy beaches and crystal-clear water host the most diverse marine life in Brazil. The archipelago is a world-class dive destination and a heavenly retreat for underwater pleasures. Due to its open ocean location, which provides pelagic fish and ocean mammals a refuge and the strict protections placed on this national park by the Brazilian environmental protection agency, we can guarantee the fish will be there when you are.

Climate
Noronha's weather is tropical with heat and sun all through the year. The average temperature is 28º C. There are only two well defined seasons: the dry one (from September thru March) and the rainy one (from April thru August). Rains, which in general do not last long, give way to the shining Sun.

How to get there
Daily flights connect the capital cities of Natal/RN and Recife/PE to Fernando de Noronha. Travel packages are organized by tourism agencies from all over the Country. Another interesting option is to embark on the many cruises along the Brazilian coast – between October and February – which usually include a visit to the island in their itineraries.
