Full Day Serra do Mar by Train with Lunch

Operated daily. Departure time varies according to train schedule; normally tour leaves hotel at 7:30

Transfer to the train station early in the morning. Boarding a train or a "litorina" (1 wagon that includes the machine) tour will descend through the centennial and fantastic railroad that links Curitiba to Paranaguá, the state of Paraná's main port and the 3rd in importance in Brazil. During the train ride across the Atlantic Mountains with duration time of approximately 3:30 hours, passengers will have a spectacular view of the Atlantic Forest with its beautiful lakes, rivers, streams and waterfalls, riding on a State of the Art Architecture railroad built in 1865 passing through several tunnels and bridges on its way down to the coast. Also passengers will have the opportunity to appreciate the exuberant concentration of exotic vegetation and wildlife of the Atlantic Forest ecosystems. Arrival at the railroad station in the historical city of Morretes, which is located at the end of the Paranagua Harbor. Once in Morretes, passengers will have time to take a stroll and appreciate the old colonial style houses (all kept in very good shape thanks to an excellent work of restoration), some of them are also used now days as handcraft stores and restaurants. Lunch will be a "barreado" - a local dish. Return to Curitiba via highway Br-277.

- The litorina only departs on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. For the other days of the week, the train will be available.
